Welcome to the Canadian Badlands Image Library

This library contains images of the region that are available to municipalities, marketing organizations, tourism operators, travel writers, media representatives, and travel trade representatives for use in promotion of the Canadian Badlands region. Images may be reproduced for the following purposes at no cost:

  • promotional materials, not intended for retail sales, such as brochures
  • articles for newspaper and magazines featuring the Canadian Badlands region
  • web sites promoting tourism businesses or municipalities in the Canadian Badlands region

Please note that you must read and agree with all restrictions and obligations before accessing this virtual photo library.

Restrictions

  1. Images cannot be used for commercial purposes or promotion of products or services unrelated to the Canadian Badlands region. The following types of uses are prohibited:
    1. retail items or materials intended for sale such as books, calendars, postcards, placemats, or screen savers
    2. packaging or promotion of products intended for sale
  2. The images are the property of Canadian Badlands Ltd. and when reproduced must be credited as follows: Photo(s) courtesy of the Canadian Badlands Ltd.
  3. Websites publishing images from the Canadian Badlands image library should also link to www.canadianbadlands.com.
  4. You may not alter the images electronically or otherwise or create derivative works. However, cropping, sizing and creating montages are allowed.
  5. In no event will Canadian Badlands Ltd. be liable to you for any claims, costs, losses or damages you incur by using the images.

Obligations
