Southeastern Alberta Birding Trail Guide

The Southeastern Birding Trail Guide has recently been created by the Grasslands Naturalist. This guide covers the area between the US border and the Red Deer River, from Hwy 36 to the Saskatchewan border.

There are 15 separate birding trails. Download seperate trails or the entire guide here.

Some of North America's most sought after bird species inhabit the vast, rolling prairies of Southeastern Alberta. Roads here are well maintained, and it is the sunniest place in Canada. Visiting birders have a great opportunity for some exciting sightings!
