Business development in Hanna is approached as a combined effort with the Town of Hanna and the Chamber of Commerce. Its mandate is to promote economic activity within the Hanna trading area by supporting existing businesses, encouraging new companies and providing information and support to up and coming entrepreneurs.
Hanna Museum and Pioneer Village: Contains a full block of well-maintained historic buildings including a hospital, church, school, general store, blacksmith shop, train station and ranch house. The downtown also features historic buildings and several large murals.
Hanna Golf and Country Club: Noted golf architects Les Furber and Jim Eremko have expanded this fine prairie course to 18 holes, with plenty of water and sand hazards.
The Doll House Museum: Boasts Alberta’s largest doll collection and delicious sticky buns.
Artistic Murals of landscape and local heroes including the band Nickelback.: Two of Alberta's largest geese, one welcoming visitors at the east entrance, and another on the corner of 2nd Ave W and Palliser Trail.
CNR Roundhouse: Although currently privately owned, has been identified, of all the remaining roundhouse sites in the province, as having the best potential for public use.
