Nestled on the 49th Parallel is the village of Coutts – Gateway to Alberta. The village boasts the only 24 hour Port of Entry in Alberta. Over 750,000 cars, trucks, RV’s and semi’s pass through this border yearly. As a major hub with the twinned Alberta highway 4 and the US interstate 15 this small village also has a RV park and a motel.
Besides the RV Park and Double Tree Inn, Coutts has 2 ball diamonds, outdoor tennis, and basketball courts, rodeo grounds, and spray park. Coutts is home to one restaurant, Zestos, and a convenience store that is open mon-fri 9-5. Writing on Stone Provincial Park is only 25 minutes away. Gold Springs Park is only 7 minutes away.
