Visit Rosemary and you’ll immediately appreciate why it’s described as “a growing, vibrant community that promotes family values”.
Located 30 km northwest of the City of Brooks and 25 km east of the Town of Bassano, it’s in the heart of the Canadian Badlands.
Rosemary itself is becoming known for its enthusiastic celebration of Canada Day. Every year, July 1st is a day packed with events that start with a pancake breakfast and end with a huge fireworks display at night. It is a day when the population of Rosemary goes from 400 to thousands as many people flock from surrounding communities to enjoy the day’s activities.
Just east of Rosemary is Dinosaur Provincial Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can hike through badlands that are famous for yielding some of the world’s richest deposits of dinosaur fossils. Don't miss Rosemary's "Long Lunch" held every fall.
