Or get the scoop from the Visitor Information Center on local attractions, what's to see and do, and area resources. Kneehill Historical Museum connects visitors with local heritage, people, places and events over time relating to the great plains of Southern Alberta, a unique area intersected by a handful of creeks with buffalo jumps and many bridges. Staff at the Museum and Visitor Information Center will guide you through an extensive collection of artifacts representing Kneehill people, from First Nations through European settlement, with stories collected by local historians. Climb aboard a CN caboose, experience the station master's domain in the GTP-CN Station House, and view equipment that demonstrates how farmers dealt with extreme weather and farming conditions in Kneehill County. Staff have extensive area knowledge and are ready to map out local tours, features, local resources and services.
