World's Largest Lamp

The World's Largest Lamp was officially opened on July 1, 2000, as a millennium project designed to compliment the Village of Donalda's extensive oil lamp collection. The lamp stands 42 ft. high (12.8m) and 17 ft. wide (5.18m) at the base and is made of steel and fiberglass. The lamp overlooks the magnificent Meeting Creek Coulee and is quite a site to behold when the globe lights up at dusk each night. The lamp is open for viewing during local museum hours and is situated near the Willow Creek Hiking Trails.
