The Arboretum at Trochu
Founded in 1989 the Arboretum and Gardens at Trochu is a five acre forest garden in the middle of the prairies. Unique varieties of Pine, Spruce, Elm, Larch, Birch, Maple, Oak and Willow with many species of under story shrubs and trees are accessible by red shale pathways. Complimentary perennial and annual beds throughout the Arboretum bloom from early spring to fall. Update: June 10, 2020. Looking for a destination drive? Visit the Arboretum in Trochu, there are blooming trees, perennial and annual beds. In response to COVID-19, washrooms are open daily from 7:30am to 4:30pm and will be cleaned 4 times per day. Please do not enter the arboretum if you are feeling ill or exhibiting COVID-19 or other cold and flu-like symptoms. There is a hand sanitizing station located to the west side of the Visitor Interpretive Center.
