Delia is the gateway to the scenic Hand Hills. A tour of the Dawson Historical Museum offers many opportunities, including a chance to view a fully resorted, operational grist mill, the only one of its kind in Western Canada. Leaving Delia, the ascent into the Hand Hills takes you to the highest northerly elevation in Canada between the Rocky Mountains and is referred to as the "Roof of the Prairies."
