Every Brilliant Thing at Rosebud Theatre
Ice cream, roller-coasters, the smell of old books—how does a child growing into a teenager, then into a young woman, wrestle with the fact that her Mom is so unhappy? She writes lists of everything that makes life worth living. She leaves them on her Mom’s pillow. She knows her Mom has read them because the spelling’s been corrected. A surprisingly funny show about depression and the lengths we go to for those we love. Includes some audience participation. By Duncan Macmillan, with Jonny Donahoe. Tickets are theatre-only but an optional meal is available after the show on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Every Brilliant Thing plays Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 4:30pm at the Rosebud Studio Stage. Seating times for the optional buffet is between 6:30pm and 7:00pm. Theatre tickets are $33. Theatre and Buffet tickets are $67. There is a Preview performance on June 24 at 4:30pm. This is the last rehearsal before the show opens and there is an unlikely possibility that the show could be stopped. Tickets for Preview are only $16 (no meal).
