Rosebud Theatre presents "All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914." November 5 to December 23, 2020The unbelievable true story of peace between enemies. The Western Front— Christmas, 1914. Out of the violence a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht,” beginning an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace. All is Calm relives an astounding moment in history when Allied and German soldiers emerged from their trenches and laid down their arms to celebrate Christmas together, sharing food and drink, playing soccer, and singing carols. A remarkable true story told in the words and songs of the men who lived it.Tickets include a buffet meal before the show. Matinees are at 1:30pm on Wed, Th, Fri, Sat, Sun & Dec 22. Evening shows are at 8:00pm on Fri & Sat + Dec 22 & 23. Ticket prices range from $60 - $90. Group (20+) and Youth (4-20) pricing is available. There is a Preview performance on November 5 at 7:30pm. This is the last rehearsal before the show opens and there is an unlikely possibility that the show could be stopped. Tickets are only $27 (no meal).
